His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdulrasaq Taiyeolu Abiboye III, the Aláwò of Awoland has appealed to the general public not to discountenance the relevance of their individual contributions which could very much leave lasting impacts on the society.

The royal father made this statement during a charity outreach held at the Alawo of Awo Palace, on the 17th of December, 2021.

The outreach which was put together by the Charity Community Development Service Group of Egbedore local government area, in partnership with NCCF Awo, featured the donation of over 50 packs of semovita cereal flour to the indigent populace in Awo Kingdom.

According to the King, "this charity initiative put together by corps members is a testament to the fact that so much more can be achieved when individuals combine their strengths and resources together".

Furthermore, the group's president, corps member George Abiola, held an  hygiene talk on how best to maintain a healthy lifestyle in this post COVID-19 era.

The beneficiaries appreciated the corps members for deeming it fit to extend kindness to them at such needful period, pledging to abide by the health tips given.

The event rounded off with a prayer session for the corps members by the Islamic head of the community, as mandated by the traditional ruler.
