OAUHC DONATES RELIEF MATERIALS TO NYSC OSUN
The Obafemi Awolowo University Health Centre Ile Ife has donated some medical relief materials to NYSC Osun State.
The presentation was done by Dr Asimiyi Olatunji who was ably represented by the Assistant Director Pharmaceutical Services, Pharmacist Akinbile Adebambo, at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede on Tuesday.
According to him, giving is part of their cultural orientation as such they are always willing to offer support to ensure the improvement of both quality and quantity of supplies available to other Health Centres across the State as this will ensure they play their part in safeguarding lives.
The NYSC Osun State Coordinator, Mr Adegoke expressed extreme satisfaction at the kind gesture from OAUHC which according to him is a sign that they have both the scheme and PCMs at heart. He encouraged them therefore not to relent in partnering with the scheme to boost the current access to health care facilties.
In similar fashion, the Head of Clinic, Mr Abiona Abiodun thanked the Centre for their continued interest in the affairs of the scheme and assured the team that the materials donated will be utilized adequately.
While disclosing the type of materials donated, Pharm. Adebambo explained that indeed the materials brought are essential for daily consumption. They include: Antibiotics, Latex gloves, Antimalaria, Needle and syringe, Paracetamol tab, Gelusi tab, mentilated spirit, amongst many others.
