It Is Compulsory For You To Learn A Skill - Mrs Ajayi Tells Corps Members

 

The Head of Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development, Mrs Femi- Ajayi Olufunmilayo has told the 2021 Batch A Stream II Corps Members that it is compulsory for them to acquire a skill before they complete their service year.

She made this statement during the morning meditation at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede on Monday.

According to her, it is paramount that the corps members are properly oriented as to the need for total participation in the SAED Program that is about to start.

Furthermore, she said that the program is in partnership with various financial organizations which will in turns sensitize corps members and as well provide loans to those who have viable business plans.

In conclusion, she urged everyone to take the training seriously, as there will be competitions and prizes to be won for those who perform well in the program. She added that Corps members should not just learn the skills but should monetise it for self empowerment.
