CORPS MEMBERS COMMEMORATE WEST AFRICA ROAD SAFETY ORGANISATION DAY

 

Corps members of the Federal Road Safety Corps CDS Group have on Saturday joined the Federal Road Safety Organization in commemorating the 2021 West Africa Road Safety Organization (WARSO) day.

The Sector Commander Osun State, Mrs. Ibrahim Kudirat posited that the FRSC team will ensure fairness in the regulation of traffic and also ensure the safe crossing of pedestrians on the road.

She also advised drivers to act accordingly by following rules and regulations as postulated by the FRSC and also drive responsibly.

The FRSC team lectured on the consequences of overspeeding and its effects on the lives of the victims. They pleaded with the drivers present during the program to ensure that they follow safe driving protocols.

The chairmen of transport unions present also harped on the importance of driving responsibly and staying away from substances like liquor and cigarettes while driving.
