AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE WILL ALWAYS BE IN DEMAND- OMODOLAPO

 

Miss Omodolapo Ogunjola of the Technologies for African Agricultural Transformation (TAAT) sensitized Osun State corps members and those dislodged from Lagos State on the invaluable benefits of investing in the agribusiness. 

While delivering the lecture at the Permanent Orientation Camp Ede on Monday, Miss Omodolapo stressed on the importance of agriculture considering the high rate of unemployment in the country. 

Highlighting the failure of the economic sector, she  stated that many small scale and upcoming  businesses have failed. She then encouraged the Corps members to take advantage of the benefits of engaging in agriculture. 

 Furthermore, she revealed that agricultural produce will always be in demand and food produce will always be consumed by humans, thus, regardless of any economic recession in the country, agriculture will remain profitable.

Furthermore, she added that TAAT advocates for youths to find a way to get themselves inclined with the various opportunities in the agricultural sector such as; agricultural production, processing, preparation, packaging and transportation.

In concluding her lecture, she admonished the Corps members not to miss the lucrative opportunities in Agri-Business and to shy away from illegal businesses which may seem as quicker ways of making money.
