WE WILL DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO ENSURE NYSC ACHIEVES HER MANDATE- DIRECTOR DSS

 

The Director, Department of State Services Osun  State Command, Mr Folorunsho Bankole Alade has said the DSS is committed to doing everything possible to ensure NYSC achieves her mandate.

Bankole made this statement when the NYSC Osun State Coordinator, Mr Ayodele Adegoke paid him a courtesy visit at his office in Osogbo on Wednesday.

He said that the DSS is always ready to partner with NYSC in the mentoring of corps members to become patriotic, disciplined and selfless in the discharge of their duties and in contributing their quota to nation building.

Speaking further, he said that the command is always willing to offer support to the scheme in whatever capacity needed be it during the orientation or after.

Earlier, the State Coordinator, Mr Ayodele Adegoke had appreciated the DSS for the intelligence report and protection offered over the years to corps members as well as NYSC officials.

He said the good rapport existing between the DSS and the scheme has proven a useful tool in ensuring the safety of lives particularly of corps members serving in the State.

Furthermore, he expressed his enthusiasm in working with the new head and prayed his tenure is characterized by consistent progress, unprecedented peace and mutual benefit for all.
