SDG CDS GROUP KICK-STARTS COVID-19 SENSITISATION PROJECT AT OJA- OBA MARKET.

The NYSC Sustainable Development Goals Community Development Service group led by her President, Fajoye Ayodeji Matthew embarked on a sensitisation and awareness on COVID-19 protocols at the Oja-Oba market on Wednesday.

The group distributed 250 pieces of reusable face masks to the market traders and then educated them on the need to observe COVID-19 protocols by using face masks and washing or sanitising their hands regularly. 

The NYSC SDG group described the project as a fundamental part of the Sustainable Development Goal number 3 which aims at ensuring a healthy lifestyle and promoting well-being for all at all ages. 

In receiving the Corps Members, the palace of the Ataoja of Osogbo warmly welcomed the group and appreciated them for their efforts and contribution to the development of the Oja Oba Community. 

In Conclusion, the market traders also expressed their elation and gratitude to the Corps Members for their donations and effort in promoting their health and well-being during the pandemic.
