PLATOON TWO EMERGE WINNERS AS SPORTS COMPETITION COMES TO A CLOSE

 

Platoon two defeated Platoon eight in an exciting finale to emerge as champions in the football match on Friday.

 The match was played with full intensity by both parts but Platoon two were unlucky to concede a goal in the first half.

In the second half however, platoon two scored a goal resulting in a draw. This led to a penalty kick which platoon two converted and eventually emerged winners with Platoon eight and five coming second and third respectively.

In volleyball, platoon two emerged winners again when they defeated Platoon seven, while Platoon seven and five came second and third respectively.

Sani Issa from Platoon 2 was awarded the best volleyball player and Bukoye Samson Ayodeji from platoon 8 was awarded best footballer for the batch.

Meanwhile, for the 100m race male category, representatives of platoon 7, 3 and 9 came first, second and third respectively.

In the female category representatives of platoon 7, 9 emerged as and 4 came first, second and third respectively.
