INTERPLATOON DANCE AND DRAMA COMPETITION KICKS OFF

 

The cultural activities for the 2021 Batch A stream1 has finally commenced after a long period of anticipation and preparations by corps members and camp officials alike. The event was highly captivating as the audience where kept glued on their seats throughout the duration of the performance.

The inter platoon dance and drama competition kicked off on Tuesday at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede.

Platoon 1 and 3 kick started the dance competition which kept their audience in awe while Platoon 5 and 4 gave a drama presentation that captured the realities of the Nigerian society today.

All the various groups involved in this contest are kept based on same factors which include: accurate Interpretation of roles, confidence, appearance and timeliness as was announced by the judges.

Furthermore, all Platoons are expected to perform both the dance and the drama after which the winners in both categories will be decided.

Cultural Inter platoon competition has been designed to bring creativity and originality among corps members on camp. It encourages the spirit of oneness, fellowship, togetherness and love as different persons come together to achieve a common goal.
