he NYSC Osun State Coordinator, Mr Ayodele Adegoke has told the 2020 Batch A corps members who returned to the orientation camp to complete their orientation course that only relevant skills can keep them at the top of the game in the labour market.
He stated this while addressing the corps members at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede, On Tuesday.
Mr Adegoke enjoined them to stay positive and understand that their return to the orientation camp is to make their future better through the learning and acquisition of relevant skills; hence they should endeavor to choose a skill they have passion for and utilize it in making themselves and the country better.
He equally told them to ensure they adhere to the COVID-19 preventive protocols even as they learn their desired skills.
" Wash your hands before and after touching your learning materials and ensure you wear your facemasks regularly in order to keep everyone safe", he added.
Subsequently the corps members were taken to the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Stand and assigned to their various trainers where they will be learning skills such as leather works, tye and dye, ICT, bead making, Barbing, auto gele, tailoring, hair making and many other available skills that is pivotal for their post service survival.
