BUSINESS SURVIVAL IN POST COVID 19

The novel corona virus pandemic indeed poses a great danger threat to human kind, with millions of people infected, human activities such as business, sports, governance and lots more have suffered a great deal with the outbreak of this pandemic.

Nevertheless, it is in human DNA to adapt, tame and conquer over such novel situations. Humans all around the world have tried as much to fight back this virus which required people to stay at home all day and night in forms of isolation, this infact, reduced the rate contacting the virus but on the hand crashed many businesses (large and small). Business owners in Nigeria experienced and are still experiencing toughness in bringing back their business on track, giving that the stay at home orders crippled the country's economy and the circulation of livelihood was on a standstill.

The Post covid 19 in Nigeria is yet to hold any promises to business owners, yet business entrepreneurs must learn the art of swimming with tied legs. Entrepreneurship is a tactical art of risk taken, which requires strategizing and working closely on an idea which profit making is the ultimate goal. A business owner should sit back and look the kind of goods or services they are providing, is it still on high demand? Or the market has changed, if the market has changed then the business plan need to change too.

Entrepreneurs whom while staying at home during kickdowns had eaten with their capital money needs to loan money from banks or government in order to bring back thier business on track, in such situations, entrepreneurs should be on their toes so they can make ends meet. We can't continue staying at home because of the pandemic, businesses are meant to be open so people can live in their normalcy, taken note of the covid 19 protocols and other health tips to ensure that your business does not further the spread of corona virus in your community.

On the survival of business in the post covid19, I think it's not too much to say that the determination and attitude of business owners towards their business and the activities that sorrounds it will determine the survival rate of a business. It is really a tough time recovering from the novel and that's more a reason why we should be tough on our businesses. There's an old time saying which still rings in my head, and it that saying I will leave you with; when the journey gets tough, only the tough gets going. So in all you do, ensure you keep your business going. Stay safe.
