NYSC OSUN COVID-19 MONITORING/ENFORCEMENT COMMITTEE SENSITIZES CAMP MARKETERS ON VIRUS PREVENTION.

 

As part of efforts to curtail the spread of COVID-19 Pandemic among camp participants,the NYSC Osun state COVID-19  monitoring and enforcement team has on Saturday sensitized the camp marketers on COVID-19 prevention and control in order to keep everyone on camp safe.

The NYSC Osun State Coordinator, Mr  Adegoke Ayodele while addressing the  traders encouraged them to pay maximum attention to what the NCDC representative has to say and also ensure  they put all in practice. 

He further charged them that COVID-19 is real and the NYSC in collaboration with NCDC has deemed it important to make sure that everyone on camp stays safe and the only means of escaping the pandemic is to adhere to the preventive measures as stated by NCDC.

Meanwhile, The representative of NCDC and member Infection Prevention Control (IPC), Dr Ayiola while sensitizing the marketers told them that the pandemic is on rampage and the test they did before entering the camp is not enough as he encouraged them on the need to wear their facemasks, sanitize their hands with alcohol based sanitizer, adhere to rules of social distancing and wash their hands properly and regularly.

Subdequently, he advised the traders at the foods/drinks stands to always endeavor to clean their tables and chairs with the disinfectant chemical given to them by the camp management.

Also present at the Sensitization, are the camp director; Mr Felix Ayibiowu, RO1, Mr Bamigboye Paul,  the camp commandant; TBA Umole amongst others.
