INEC EDUCATES CORPS MEMBERS ON ELECTORAL PROCESSES

 

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has enlightened the 2020 Batch B stream 1B corps members on electoral processes that will help them perform effectively during elections.

The lecture took place at the multipurpose hall of the NYSC permanent orientation camp, Ede, on Tuesday.

Speaking at the lecture, Head of Department Voter Education and Publicity In INEC, Mr Lucky Balogun told the corps members that the degree of confidence is important in an election and they should try to maintain integrity, impartiality, transparency and professionalism in any election they are presiding on. 

He further told the corps members that they must at all times carry their ID cards in order to avoid embarrassment or wrong accusations during the election processes

Subsequently, he told the corps members that they are only answerable to INEC officials during an election, assuring them of their safety and support if the need arises.
