Osun State NYSC COVID-19 Committee Sensitizes Traders at Camp Market
The Osun State NYSC COVID-19 monitoring and enforcement team has on Thursday sensitized traders at the camp market, urging them to adhere to the COVID-19 preventive protocols.
Speaking at the sensitization, the representative of the NCDC, Dr Ayoola Ademola, enjoined the traders to ensure they obey the COVID-19 preventive protocols and guidelines and endeavor to visit the camp clinic should they experience any symptoms.
Speaking further, he told them to disregard any negative notions about COVID-19 charging them to work towards staying safe.
"COVID-19 is real, please disregard any counter notion and ensure you apply various precautionary measures as stated by the NCDC" he said.
He further told them that the COVID-19 test they did before entering the orientation camp is not enough, that they should ensure that they keep to the COVID-19 preventive guidelines.
Subsequently, the NYSC State Coordinator, Mr Ayodele Adegoke, who also spoke during the sensitization, appreciated the traders for their compliance so far and urged them to keep adhering to the protocols.
Also present at the sensitization are: the Head of Publicity and Protocol, Mrs Funmi Okundaye; Head of Camp Clinic, Dr Abiona Abiodun; the Camp Commandant, Captain Umole; the Camp Director, Mr Jimmy Fatogun; the Head of Accommodation, Mrs Okpalifo, the Resident officer, Mr Bamgboye Paul and other camp officials.
