NYSC Osun State Inter-platoon Sports Activities Ends in Grand Style

 

The 2020 Batch A and B stream 1A inter-platoon sports activities in Osun State ended in grand style on Thursday as platoons smile home with trophies.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, the Camp Director, Mr Jimmy Fatogun congratulated all the platoons for playing fair in all the sports activities, stressing that it was an injury-free activity. 

According to Mr Jimmy, sports is meant to exercise our body and keep us mentally and emotionally fit and not as  a means of fighting or inflicting pain on another.

"When it comes to sports let us be friendly with one another, it is not a do or die affair", he said. 

Meanwhile, the football game ended in an entertaining way as platoon 7 and 6 battled at penalty shootouts which left platoon 6 as winner after an enthralling performance by both teams.

Also, platoon 7 emerged winner of volley ball competition after a tough clash with platoon 5.

Conclusively, the winners were given cash prizes and trophies as reward for their excellent performance.
