NYSC Osun Commences Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development In-Camp Training for Corps Members
The Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme (SAED) has commenced its hands on training on Thursday at the Permanent Orientation Camp Ede, after two days of intensive entrepreneurship development programme lectures.
According to the Head of SAED, Mrs Olufunmilayo Femi-Ajayi, corps members are to register and participate mandatorily and actively in the SAED training during and after the orientation course to enable them master their crafts and become professionals.
She further stated that the Six-days in-camp training will expose corps members to lectures on the process of being self-employed as well as learning soft skills like cosmetology, human resource management, film and photography, events planning, catering, crafts, bead making, interior decoration, information and communication technology (ICT), culture and tourism, food processing and preservation, public speaking, construction, agro-allied and leather works, amongst others.
She concluded, by introducing the various facilitators/trainers who are to train and educate the corps members on the skills they intend to acquire.
