National Orientation Agency Urges Corps Members to Inculcate Nigeria's Core Values for National Development

 


The Representative of the National Orientation Agency (NOA) Osun State, Alhaji Okonlawon Alli has urged the Batch B Stream 1A Corps members to inculcate Nigeria's core values for national development and ensure they attach importance to positive endeavours.

He stated this while addressing the Corps members during the early morning lectures at the multipurpose hall of the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp Ede, Osun, on Tuesday. 

According to Alhaji Okonlawon, core value is importance we attach to things we do, 

"we must try to do the right thing at all time regardless of who is watching", he said. 


Alhaji Okonlawon further stated that development is needed in Nigeria and this can be achieved when we practice values of honesty, truthfulness, faithfulness, tolerance, discipline, dignity of labour,  social justice and obedience.

In conclusion, he implored the corps members to champion the promotion of core value and always work towards promoting the development of the country during and after the service year.
