CORPS MEMBERS SENSITIZE OSOGBO TOWN ON EFFECTIVE USE OF FACEMASKS AND HAND SANITIZERS.

Corps members of the Editorial CDS group have on Monday, 21st September  2020, sensitized Osogbo dwellers on the effective use of facemasks and hand sanitizers during the pandemic period.

The sensitization campaign walk which was tagged ''Operation Mask Up'' was carried out round the major markets in Osogbo which includes; Igbona, Orisunbare and Alekuwudo markets.

The corps members made the sensitization worthwhile through the distribution of facemasks to some persons in the market and giving of liquid sanitizers to aid the campaign.

Placards were also displayed carrying inscriptions such as; "COVID-19 is real use your facemask always". "Operation use your facemask to avoid COVID-19 spread" and "Use hand sanitizer regularly so as not to be quarantined", among other inscriptions.

Subsequently, facemasks were distributed to schools which includes: Fakunle Unity School, Osogbo Government High School, Nysc Foundation School and CAC Middle High School in Osogbo.

Speaking, the Principal of Fakunle Unity School, Mrs Aluko Margaret ably represented by Mrs Akinwale Dorcas applauded the corps members for embarking on the sensitization campaign especially with the resumption of schools in the State.

Also, the Senior Principal of Osogbo High School, Mr Folajogun Dawodu appreciated the corps members for donating facemasks to students to keep them safe against COVID-19.
