EFCC Charges 2300 Corps Members to Join in the Fight Against Corruption

The Zonal Coordinator, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) South-West zone, Mr. Kanu Idagu has charged the 2020 Batch A Stream 1 corps members to be advocates in the fight against corruption.

Mr. Kanu made this statement while delivering a lecture on the topic; “EFCC and Youths in Solving Corruption” at the ongoing orientation course for the 2020 Batch A members of NYSC at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede on Tuesday.

Kanu asserted that corruption remains Nigeria's greatest problem and the solution to it is the integrity and unity of the youths.
“You are the leaders of tomorrow and the betterment of tomorrow is determined by the efforts you make today”, he added.

He posited further, “those who earn honestly will definitely live healthier and more peacefully than those who earn dishonestly”.

Earlier, Kanu had implored the corps members to desist from corrupt practices like cyber crime, bribery, forgery amongst others in order to be an agent of change.

He concluded by telling the corps members to take the lead in the anti -graft campaign, "young people should not be ordinary spectators in the anti-corruption campaign but rather  pioneers of the campaign. "when you see something, do not only say something but do something" he concluded.
