NYSC SDG CDS ORGANIZES QUIZ COMPETITION; REITERATES COMMITMENT TOWARDS ACHIEVING ITS GOALS

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Community Development Service (CDS),  Olorunda Local Government Area, has organized a quiz competition for the students of Fakunle Unity School.

The quiz competition which was held at the school's auditorium between the grade 10 students, engaged them in a brainstorming exercise as they were also introduced to new ideas as well as consolidated the existing ones.

During the opening address by the president of the CDS group, Miss Olaleye Anike explained that the essence of the quiz competition.

She stressed that the competition was aimed at ensuring that the first five goals of the scheme are deeply engraved in the hearts of students'.

Stating the first five goals, "No poverty, zero hunger, Good health and well-being, quality education and gender equality."

Olaleye admonished the students to put all knowledge they have acquired into full practicals use adding that they "must live up to expectations".

Thereafter fellow corps members of the CDS distributed books and stationery were being to all students.

In an interview session with our correspondent, one of the students thanked the Corps members for the knowledge imparted on them as she expressed total readiness in promoting the SDG goals.

”We will promote our country's development’. She added.
