OLA-OLUWA LOCAL GOVERNMENT INSPECTOR EARNS CHIEFTAINCY TITLE
Following the sensitization exercise by the NYSC on Lassa fever, Corps members in Ola-Oluwa went practical by cleaning the surroundings of the palace and some other parts of the community.
This exercise earned the local government inspector of Ola-Oluwa, Mrs Omolara Olawuni a chieftancy title as the Yeye Atayese of Asa land.
While issuing the certificate of Chieftaincy to Mrs. Olawuni on the 30th of January, 2020, the Royal Father, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeolu Akinmoyero, the Adaatan of Asa land, described her as the best LGI the local government has ever had since 2015.
He further appreciated and commended the scheme for always encouraging corps members to give their service selflessly and humbly to the betterment of the society.
Meanwhile, while receiving the Chieftaincy title, Mrs. Olawuni expressed her gratitude to God and to the Royal Father for finding her Worthy. She then promised to continue discharging her duties to the best of her ability.
