Okuku Students Rejoice as Corps Members Sensitizes on ICT
The students of Glory Secondary School, Okuku have displayed a great heart of Rejoice as Corps members from Education/ ICT Community Development Service (CDS) group sensitized on the importance of Information Communication and Technology (ICT).
The CDS group from Odo Otin Local Government, Okuku Osun State visited the school while enlightening the students on the topic which said "The Impact of ICT on Students and Society as a Whole". The corps members further exposed them to the significance of technology in the 21st century as well as the implications of abusing it.
Prior to this, the students and staff expressed their happiness as they have acquired a better understanding about the concept of ICT. They also disclosed that the sensitization was highly impactful as they have learnt news about technology.
Finally, the principal of the institution appreciated the corps members for their initiative, then admonishing them to stay focused while affirming to them that they are potential leaders of this generation.
