*Ede North Corps Members Sanitise And Build Sustainable Communities*
In a bid to achieve Global Goals, corps members in Ede North Local Government have built sustainable communities through sensitization about cleanliness and sanitation at Ede town, Osun State.
The sensitization rally which was tagged "Keep Ede Clean" saw corps members from every Community Development Service (CDS) group coming out en masse with banners and placards reading different cliches of words of encouragement and enlightenment about environmental cleanliness and sanitation.
The team led by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) CDS group campaigned against indiscriminate disposal of wastes while showing lucid demonstration of how wastes can be sustainably managed through the use of wastes bags, bins to name a few. They further went a long way by picking dirts at major places in the community including streets, market places, drainages, traditional palace and local government Secretariat, an exercise which lasted about 3 hours.
Meanwhile, the corps members were duly appreciated by the Local Government Inspector (LGI), Mr Aderombi Dapo for the great initiative which aimed at improving the society.
sequel to this, the Corps Liaison Officer (CLO) had appreciated the LGI on behalf of the corps members, expressing his gratitude for the immeasurable support given to the corps members in the execution of the project.
