MAKE EDUCATION YOUR PRIORITY __ Mr Oluwadamilare
The Local Government Inspector of Ife East, Mr Oniye Oluwadamilare has advised students of Modakeke High School to make education their utmost priority as it is a stepping stone to a bright future.
Mr Oluwadamilare stated this during a quiz competition organized by the Sustainable Development Goals CDS group on the 24th of October at Modakeke High school, Modakeke in Osun.
Oluwadamilare who advised the students on the relevance of education, further stated that education is a determining factor in one's intellectual growth.
The President of the CDS group in his address noted that the quiz competition was a means to contributing to the development of the educational sector in Nigeria.
Meanwhile Mr Emmanuel Jacob, a corps member encouraged the students to set goals and be determined to work towards the achievement of their set goals.
In attendance for the quiz competition were ten schools which are: Our Lady High school, Modakeke High school 1,Modakeke High School 2, Community Middle School 1, Community Middle School 2, Modakeke Middle School ,Islamic High School, The Apostolic High School, St.Stephens Middle School and Urban Day Middle School.
At the end of the quiz competition, for the Junior class, Abdulahi Amindat from Muslim Middle School emerged 3rd position, while Maku Boluwatife from Urban Day Middle Schools emerged 2nd position and Adegoke Christianah from Community Middle School 1 emerged overall best.
For the Senior category, Akanni Tibiloba from our Lady High school emerged 3rd position, while Ogurinde Samuel from Modakeke High School 2 emerged 2nd position and Fatunsi Miracle from Apostolic High School emerged overall best thereby winning the quiz competition for the senior category
