Education is the Right Ticket for a Brighter Future…. FOIA Sensitizes Students
The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) corps members have extended their humanitarian services to the students of Christ African Middle School, Osogbo, Osun State sensitizing them on the essence of education and right steps to choosing their careers.
The sensitization event held at the school premises was accompanied with several teachings and learning as the corps member from the CDS group taught the junior school pupils the value of education, revealing how relevant it is to their future.
In the meantime, the students were exposed to the techniques for increasing the level of their intelligence, thereby enabling them to discern propaganda from the truth. The corps members also revealed the best strategies for choosing career path by discovering their potentials and passion as they proceed to their respective senior classes.
Prior to this, the president of the group, Miss ‘Damilola Akinola charged the students on the importance of education, citing examples of people who are successful through quality education. She further encouraged the pupils to be focused and diligent with their studies, and not to be influenced by negative friends.
In response, the students appreciated the corps members for their efforts in reaching out to them adding that the corps members have reflected the rays of hope in their journey for success.
