ICPC MARKET SENSITIZATION
The Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) through its Community Development Service (CDS) group of the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) Ede North Local Government Area (LGA) carried out a sensitisation within Oje Market and its environs, Ede. The event which took place on the 24th of July, 2019 witnessed a huge turnout as flyers were distributed with the message alongside it, discouraging people from partaking in corrupt practices.
The speech which was disseminated by Mrs. Jimoh, Ibrahim Rasheed Babatunde; the President of the CDS group and other members of the group focused on internet fraud, discouraging bribery and many more. The outcome of the sensitization was considered a success as traders praised the efforts of the Corp members while encouraging them to take the fight against corruption to those occupying public offices.
