"There Is Hope For You" - Corps Members Charge Juveniles

Over 40 Corps Members from the SDG CDS Group, NYSC Oshogbo visited Rehabilitation Center in Testing Ground, Oshogbo, Osun State on Wednesday, 27th March, 2019 encouraging them to hope for a better future.

The team which was headed by Mr. Idris, the SDG CDS President and Precious Anams featured series of lectures, interactive and storytelling sessions. "Nobody can determine your success in life except you" says Idris who advised the juveniles to shun evil vices and embrace self-acceptance and begin to take strategic and positive steps to redirect their energy from crimes into other useful activities.

"We are bound to face trials in life, our relations to them will determine if we will fail or succeed", added Precious Anams. Other Corp Members also spoke at the event, cheering up the juveniles to look beyond their present situation and focus on their personal development.

Officials of the Rehabilitation Centre charged the juveniles to heed the advice from the Corps Members and turn a new leaf. The event was colored with exhibition of musical talents from the juveniles.
