HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MR. DANJUMA EMMANUEL ATTAH -THE NYSC STATE COORDINATOR, OSUN STATE

August they say is home for so many blessed people with impeccable character and charisma. Mr Danjuma Attah is one of such.

He is the quintessential Omoluabi that we have seen in his gloriousness, listened to as he talked with compassionateness, felt the warmness of his fatherly love, and experienced the blessings of his giftedness. Like Belteshazzar in the Christian archival historical documentations, he is a gifted administrator with exceptional capabilities. He brims with spirit and intelligence; and evokes a kind of uncommon smartness, astuteness, and wisdom.

His administrative engineering prowess is matchless and unparalleled. His distinctiveness is in his ability to achieve any set objective no matter the obstacles or hurdles. He succeeds where others fail. Since he assumed leadership role as the Number One Corps Member in the State of Osun, the scheme has witnessed unprecedented success; and this has informed the reason why the Director General, in his last visit to Osun camp, hailed his orderliness and dedication.

He is a father to over 5,000 awesome individuals. Way different from Genghis Khan who possibly has as many as 2,000 children from as many as 3,000 wives. His children are from all across the North East, North West, North Central, South East, South West, and South South of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. As this number increases every year, his fatherly feather is even more assuringly protective.

When we look at him, one would know what cultural literacy, intelligence, and sophistication is. He consorts with nobility, dines with Kings, companies with chiefs, rolls with barons, wines with the intelligentsia, moves with the highbrows, and makes friends with the cognoscente, academics, and the scholars. In all, he is still humble; very much accessible and with a large, spacious and capacious heart.

He loves sports. Were he a tennis player, he would be more decorated than Roger Federer who has won 20 Major singles titles; a boxer, he would perhaps be as celebrated as Ray Robinson who fought 173 fights and had 109 Knock Outs; or footballer, he would have lifted as much trophies as Zlatan Ibrahimovic who has won 32 titles, Vitor Baia who won 33, Kenny Dalglish who won 34, and Ryan Giggs who won 36. Greatness runs in his genes!

Daddy, as you mark this auspicious day of your birth, words can't explain how much loved we feel and how we wish heaven will continually open its windows for heavenly blessings of good health, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to rain on you. May your journey lead you home. May you have fulfilling rewards from your inputs. May you not be like that Brazilian inmate who dug a tunnel for five years and after finishing, found himself in a guard room welcomed by men in uniform. May you gain the world and gain your soul.
