Silence: The Silent Killer
June 17, 2018
SILENCE; OUR SILENT KILLER
Silence the emblem of the dead
A killer diseases
A stigma that kills living
And buries existence in stagnation
Can we escape this spiral?
Which has been a weapon of mass destruction
like locust that feasted on fear of no words
The end of a living world
Silence brings
As it shrinks the eye to blindness
The vision becomes blurr
Where is the future?
Lost!
Silence is a silent killer
As it romances the agitation in you to death
Flee! Run! Escape!
Olusegun Omotosho
Silence: Our Silent Killer
Dark and dark
Black and black
Smoke and smoke
Coal and coal
The brains get blocked
Red with liquid
Pours and drains
Veins leak out
Cold iron it is called
It sealed our lips
Cavity closed
Teeth clinched
Salty from the eyes
Pulse raised
Silence sealed destiny
Cavity opened
Teeth ajar
Salty dries
Pulse restored
Life restored
