CHARITY CDS MAKES DONATION, APPRECIATES ORPHANAGE

The Charity Community Development Service Group of Osogbo Local Government Area has lived up to its mantra as they paid a courtesy visit to the Little Angels of Fatimah Catholic Home for motherless and less-privileged babies, Asubiaro, Osogbo.

They were welcomed by the Reverend Sister, Matt Elizabeth Akinlodun on behalf of the Bishop of Catholic Diocese, Osogbo, Most Reverend John Akinkunmi Oyejola and the hospital administrator, Rev. Simeon Oyetunji.

Corps member Ujah Nicodemus, the president of the group stated the reason for their coming and presented their gift, "We are here to see how these lovely babies are doing and also to show our gratitude to you and your members of staff for the good work you do here. It is indeed a great sacrifice recognized by all, please manage the token we have to offer", he said.

In her response, the Reverend Sister stated that the kind gesture was greatly acknowledged.

"We are really happy to have you all in our orphanage home, your gift is in no way little, it is indeed appreciated and valued." She said.

According to her, only a fraction of the actual number of the children housed by the home were present at that time.  "When you go in, you will only find babies who can't go to school yet. The grown ones have gone to school- from nursry to university level." She added.

In the end, the group offered the orphanage items which include: toiletries and beverages to aid in the taking care of the children of the home.
