OUTGOING EDITORIAL BOARD MEMBERS PRESENTS PROJECT TO NYSC OSUN

The 2020 Batch B Editorial board CDS group members have presented their project work to the NYSC osun state, in accordance with the general aim of the community development service.

The event which took place recently at the NYSC osun state secretariat, omo west had in attendance the state coordinator, Mrs Winifred Shokpeka, assistant director of the press and public relations unit, Mrs Funmi Okundaye, other members of staff and representatives from the Editorial board CDS group. 

While presenting the project work to the state coordinator, the outgone Editor-in-chief, Ofure Ehizogie, said that the major aim of a CDS group, aside other functions, is to engage in activities that will develop the community around them. 

"We looked around and instead of just presenting anything to fulfill all righteousness, we got something that is really needed" he added. He appreciated all members of the batch and the Editorial board in general for their relentless efforts put in order to achieve the project.

While receiving the project, the state coordinator, Mrs Winifred Shokpeka, appreciated the Editorial board, saying "this is what true community development is all about"'.

Furthermore, she told the representatives of the board that such selfless projects and related activities like this has a way of skyrocketing them to their peak. She enjoined them not to stop at this level but to continue with projects like this as it brings them to the limelight. 

The project which included a laptop, a mouse and a camera battery was happily received by the office.
