NYSC OSUN BEGINS SOCIAL ACTIVITIES IN STYLE

 

Social activities has finally commenced in NYSC Osun State after  several days of patient anticipation. 

The  Camp Director, Mrs Obiageli Okpalifo who was ably represented by her deputy, Alhaji Wahid Gbenga has said the welcome party marks the beginning of social activities on camp and the party particularly is inculcated to stimulate unity and integration among corps members in a relaxed atmosphere. 

This statement was made at the Multipurpose hall of the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede on Saturday.

Furthermore, he encouraged all present to relax, enjoy themselves and have a wonderful time even as he declared social activities on camp open.

The social night was characterized by lots of interesting activities ranging from dance competition both male and female category with representatives from each platoon, competition to spin the bottle, performance from corps artists, among others.

In the interplatoon dance competition, Ibrahim Akinyemi OS/21A/1445 from plantoon 5 emerged  winner, while Olawoyin Femi from plantoon 4 came second and Adebusi Kayode from plantoon 3 took third position. For the female category, Glory  Nkoro OS/21A/1776 from platoon 6 emerged winner.

Spin the bottle competition had the representative from platoon 5 Ibrahim Akinyemi emerge the first position. While Akhabue Omo from platoon 6 and Okobi  Simon from Platoon 8 came second and third respectively.

All corps members present departed the event happy, joyful and satisfied  because they were given a beffiting welcome.
