Champion the Sensitization Against COVID-19 Anywhere You Go- Mr Adegoke Charges COVID-19 Vanguard

 

The State Coordinator of NYSC Osun State, Mr Ayodele Adegoke has on Saturday charged the COVID-19 Vanguard to champion the fight against the COVID-19 anywhere they find themselves.

Mr Adegoke Stated this while addressing the COVID-19 Enforcement and Monitoring team at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp Ede, Osun State.

According to him, COVID-19 is a global pandemic. In order to stop the spread, there is a need to work tirelessly to ensure that everyone is aware of the existence of the virus and adhere to the rules that will keep them safe. 

Also present at the lecture, representative of the NCDC and member of IPC, Ayoola Ademola told the team that they should ensure that they do not be the reason others should stop adhering to COVID-19 preventive protocols but be a model people will look up to by adhering to the protocols.

Also speaking, the camp director, Mr Jimmy Fatogun enjoined the corps members to be confident and proud of what they are doing assuring them that it is a service to humanity and they should not be afraid to do the right thing.

He also told them that if they experience any challenges convincing or making people adhere at their places of primary assignment, that the first person to meet is the head of the organization or school to enable them carry out their mandate effectively.

Meanwhile, the state surveillance officer of NCDC Osun, Mr Fafioye Razaq further educated the COVID-19 Vanguard on how to carry out their sensitization effectively.

He told the team that if they want to carry out any sensitization that they can call on NCDC for assistance and support.

Also present at the lecture are: the Head of Accommodation, Mrs Okpalifo Obiageli; the Head of Publicity and Protocol, Mrs Funmi Okundaye and other Camp officials.
