The Head of Community Development Service NYSC Osun State, Mr kayode Ola-Peters has sensitized batch C stream 2 corps members on the essence of Community development service.

Kayode enjoins all corps members to be active in exercising community development in their host communities so as to aid  nation building.

He enlightened corps members on some of the community development groups corps members are expected to belong to as part of their fulfilment of the cardinal programmes of the scheme. These groups are: Education Development, Environment and Sanitation, Road Safety, Anti-corruption Group, Drug Free and Quality Control, among others.

According to him, "corps members are expected to join one as it is mandatory for their service in nation building''.

Ola-peters educated corps members on the procedures needed for CDS and informed them about the awards and rewards attached to development been carried out in their host communities.

Kayode further sensitized the members on U-Report; its meaning,  objectives and the roles of the members in the actualisation of the objectives of the U-Report. He thereafter enlisted corps members and inaugurated the U-Report vanguards.

Kayode while closing the lecture left the corps members with the statement which states that '' the secret of success is to do the uncommon things with a common sense''.
